Booking Policy

This Booking Policy outlines the terms and conditions for reserving classes, workshops, private events, and open studio time at Golden Craftery. By making a booking, you agree to the policy below.

1. Reservations

  • All bookings must be made in advance through our booking system or by approved communication.
  • Due to limited studio space, all participants must be booked in advance. No walk-ins or unbooked participants will be accommodated.
  • Bookings are confirmed only after full payment (as specified for the service) has been received.
  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking at our discretion.

2. Payment

  • Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
  • Accepted payment methods include: [via website or bank transfer].
  • Prices are subject to change without notice; confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed price.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling (Customer)

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 1 week before the scheduled booking.
  • Cancellations made within the notice period may be eligible for a credit or reschedule, at our discretion.
  • Late cancellations, no-shows, or partial attendance are non-refundable.

4. Cancellations (Studio)

  • In the rare event that we must cancel or reschedule a session, you will be offered a full refund or credit.
  • We are not responsible for additional costs incurred (e.g., travel or accommodation).

5. Late Arrivals

  • Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may miss instructions or studio time.
  • Sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of arrival time.
  • Sessions are 1 hour 30 minutes in duration, but activities may not take the full time and could finish earlier depending on your pace.
  • Repeated late arrivals may result in forfeited bookings without refund.

6. Age Requirements

  • All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Participants must meet the minimum age requirement for each class or event.

7. Health & Safety

  • Participants must follow all studio safety guidelines and instructor directions.
  • Some activities may involve tools, materials, or substances that require care.
  • We are not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions.

8. Liability Waiver

  • By booking, participants assume all risks associated with craft activities.
  • Golden Craftery is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings.

9. Materials & Projects

  • Materials are included unless otherwise stated.
  • Finished projects may need additional drying time and may be collected later.
  • Unclaimed projects after 3 weeks may be discarded.

10. Private Events & Group Bookings

  • A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure private events.
  • Final guest count and balance are due a week before the event.
  • Changes to guest count after this date may not be accommodated.

11. Studio Conduct

  • Respectful behavior is required at all times.
  • Please respect the studio, equipment, and materials. Keep your workspace clean and tidy
  • Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the studio without refund.

12. Parking & Local Area

  • Parking is available on Hulme Street. Please be mindful of parking restrictions.
  • As the studio is located in a residential area, please respect the local community by keeping noise levels low and being considerate of neighbors.

13. Photography & Marketing

  • We may take photos or videos during sessions for promotional purposes.
  • Please inform us in writing if you do not consent to being photographed.

14. Policy Updates

  • This policy may be updated at any time. The most current version will be available on our website or in-studio.
